Almost fifteen years ago when my first son was born I was thrilled to discover a coupon in a package that was sent home with me from the hospital for an 11x18 print that told interesting facts about the day my son was born. I had been disappointed earlier because I forgot to have my husband buy a newspaper on the day Douglas was born, so this print was something I had to have. I wanted to record those important events in his baby book so that we could look back on that day and remember what the world was like when he was born.

Years later I discovered some software that offered that same information and saw this as a potential business opportunity. I decided to market these pages online and after much trial and error, Scrapits was born and has turned into a successful business. After much market research, I discovered that my keepsake pages are more popular as gifts for the older generation - they make very popular 100th Birthday Gifts and also make excellent anniversary gifts telling interesting facts about the day a couple was joined in marriage. I also discovered a wonderful FREE online SEO Class that has helped my website become search engine friendly and successful.
