Myrna's engagement story
Well, he told me he had sent me a very special gift and to wait for it, it would arrive through the mail. He
told me the exact day and
time it was going to arrive, so I went to my door and waited for it. It was cold and windy but I waited,
the delivery man was about an hour late, but I did not want him to come and I miss him. He came and left a
box like a shoe box, in badly wrapped brown paper. I was thinking "Gee, I am scared to open this ill
wrapped box coming from the Middle East." I placed it on top of a chair and told my service dog Midas
to get the box and once he took it I let him open it. Inside was a card and another small box, so I
opened the card and it was an invitation to be online at a certain time on the card and I was to wear what is in the small box.
Well I got the other box and opened that and inside was like a roll of silky material in my favorite color,
I thought it was a scarf , but to my surprise it was like a robe, and tied to it was a little pouch. So I
put the robe on and waited online for my then friend of five years. He had all his family on his web
cam, and I had mine on, he told me to look inside the pouch which I forgot to take a look. I was more
intrigued at how the robe had been folded in the box. I opened the pouch and there it was the must beautiful
ring I ever saw, solid gold band with a single pink stone, cute, and while sobbing with people looking
at me, he proposed to me. Wedding Pending 2009.
