Marie-anne's engagement story
My husband & I met in the middle of "nowhere" is in the tropical rainforest jungle of Hawaii. Not many people live in that area. We met on August 4th 1992 and the spark was there from day one. Exactly 1 year later, August 4th 1993, is when he proposed. Was it romantic? Well, he popped the question as I got home from work. I said "Yes!" and we popped open the champaign. He then decided to take a shower and took so long that I drank about half the bottle and that was the end for me since I wasn't even a drinker to start with. I had never been drunk. He had to carry me and romance definitaly had to wait!
