Caryn's engagement story
It was a normal October when my boyfriend (my husband now) picked me up and took me to a corn maze for lunch. We walked around the maze and got lost but had fun. Then it started to rain so we needed to find somewhere to get inside, so we went to Strike In New Hyde Park. After Strike, we went to dinner at a Thai restaurant and then headed back to his apartment. We were talking about kids names on the way back to his apartment. When we got to his apartment, I said I was cold. He told me he was going to check the thermostat for me. When he came back, he had a dozen red roses and one white rose. He said the red roses were for our 5 months of being together and the white rose was commitments. When he handed me the white rose, I saw something shiny on it. He then got down on one knee and proposed to me. I was so excited as he put the ring on my finger and was shaking as he was doing it. We now are happily married for the past 3 years with a beautiful baby boy.
